Law Firm Lindblad Ltd assisted in the change of generation in our business. At first we were presented with a few alternatives for the road to be taken. After drafting the agreed actions, the law firm obtained preliminary rulings from the tax authorities, and we received dependable information about the tax office's opinion of our proposed transactions. We were able to execute the transfer of ownership without imposing an excessive burden on the new entrepreneur. This was achieved by combining a donation of shares and an arrangement where the company purchased shares from the retiring entrepreneur. We did not want to create an excessive burden on the company either, and the premises were transferred to the retiring entrepreneur in lieu of money. In the future, the retired entrepreneur receives rental income, and the company can use the premises under a long-term lease. We also expanded the Board of Directors and updated the company structure.
